Join us for a panel featuring a selection of clips and episodes from the animated shows Dinotrux (score by Jake Monaco), Hey Arnold! (score by Jim Lang), If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (score by Lisa Loeb), Ready Jet Go! (score by Jim Lang), The Stinky & Dirty Show (score by Jake Monaco), and Tumble Leaf (score by Lisbeth Scott), followed by a Q&A. ![]() Jake has scored projects spanning a multitude of genres, including classroom comedy (Struck by Lightning), romantic drama (Kilimanjaro) and murder mystery (Out to Kill). Most recently, Jake composed the score to Vertical Entertainment’s Playing It Cool starring Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan, Universal’s Kindergarten Cop 2 starring Dolph Lundgren, and Warner Bros.’ A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits. He also co-composed the music for Fox’s Let’s Be Cops, starring Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr, President Obama’s re-election film, The Road We’ve Traveled, narrated by Tom Hanks, and arranged, orchestrated and produced Piper, a hit Pixar short that earned an Oscar nomination. ![]() Jim’s original music is also featured in the Ron Howard films The Paper, Ransom, and ED TV. Other film scores include the independent features Born Killers, Fred & Vinnie, White Knight, and Guido. Additionally, Jim scored The Jim Henson Company’s animated feature series Unstable Fables, and Houston International Film Festival’s Best Short Grand Prize winner World Song. He has also collaborated with acclaimed horror director John Carpenter, for his film In the Mouth Of Madness. His numerous record credits include a series of collaborations with Eels writer and producer Mark “E” Everett. Eels albums Blinking Lights, as well as Electro-Shock Blues, and Daisies of the Galaxy feature songs by E and Lang, and string and horn arrangements written and conducted by Lang. Jim has also played on, produced, and arranged records for diverse artists including Smokey Robinson, Steve Wynn, Vince Gill, Public Image founding member Keith Levene, The Four Tops, Stan Ridgway, The Pointer Sisters, and the Los Angeles soul-jazz collective, Build An Ark. ![]() Lisa continues to craft irresistible pop songs for the 21st century, while designing Lisa Loeb Eyewear, writing children's books, and supporting non-profit causes. The Los Angeles based mother of two is well known to parents and kids for her albums Catch the Moon (with Elizabeth Mitchell) and Camp Lisa (with sales benefiting the Camp Lisa Foundation). She published her second picture book-CD for Sterling Children’s Books: Lisa Loeb’s Songs for Movin’ and Shakin’, in 2013. Her song “Disappointing Pancake” became a hit in concert and on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Lisa recently collaborated to co-write the children’s musical "Camp Kappawanna," which debuted at New York City's Atlantic Theater Company. Recognizing her work to help kids get to summer camp, the American Camp Association, New England named Lisa Loeb as their 2015 Camp Champions Honoree with a gala celebration at Fenway Park. Lisa's recent film and television appearances include John Oliver's Last Week Tonight, About a Boy, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, King of The Nerds, and Sprout Channel's Sunny Side Up Show. Her song “321 Let Go” is featured in the 2015 motion picture Helicopter Mom, which stars Nia Vardalos (and in which Lisa makes an appearance in the role of a teacher). Lisa’s fourth children’s album, Nursery Rhyme Parade! was an Amazon Music/Amazon Prime exclusive released in October 2015; a 30-minute video special featuring Lisa performing these classic songs and rhymes is also available for streaming on Amazon Music Unlimited and Amazon Prime. Her most recent award-winning family album with Amazon, Feel What U Feel, came out in October 2016 and earned her a Grammy this year. She provides voice talent for two Amazon Originals animated series: Creative Galaxy and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (for which she also composed original songs). Lisa recently released Lullaby Girl, a collaboration with Larry Goldings, in October 2017. ![]() Lisbeth is currently completing a new musical with co-composer Nathan Barr, based on the HBO hit series True Blood, which is slated to premier in 2020. Scott has written songs for and/or performed vocals on hundreds of films, most of them Oscar-winning projects such as AVATAR, Concussion, Munich, Passion, Narnia, Iron Man and more. In addition, she has performed vocals and written songs for countless television shows including True Blood, The 100, Hatfields and McCoys, The Unit and Medium. Her work as both a solo artist and with Paul Schwartz has spent over ten weeks in Billboard’s top ten and she has toured the world as a soloist, both solo and accompanied by orchestra. She has written and produced over 10 solo albums, distributed by Sony Music. ![]() Rossanna is a proud double-Bruin, with a BA in Ethnomusicology (2001) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson (2010). She is trained in jazz and classical piano and composition, and toured Bulgaria performing with Super Devoiche, ucla's Bulgarian Women's Choir.
