A look at how YouTube is helping songwriters, producers and composers showcase their portfolio of work to connect and engage with fellow musicians and fans. Gain an understanding of how rights management works on YouTube and learn about strategies and resources you can use to build a presence on the platform.
The Society of Composers and Lyricists Seminar: Creating a Home for Your Music on YouTube - Lindsay RothschildLindsay Rothschild is the Songwriter and Publisher Relations Lead in North America for YouTube. With a focus on integrating songwriters into the YouTube community, her team hosts collaborative events to spotlight songwriters and organizes educational workshops around rights management and creative engagement on the platform.

Having worked in music technology from the start of her career, Lindsay moved from product development at Warner/Chappell Music to Disney Music Group before joining Google’s YouTube Music team in 2015. She is an alumni of the University of Southern California and is a member of the Music, Film and Entertainment’s Future Hope - a group dedicated to fundraising in support of City of Hope. Lindsay is also part of Leadership Music's Class of 2019 and sits as a Governor on The Recording Academy's LA Chapter Board.

 
The Society of Composers and Lyricists Seminar: Creating a Home for Your Music on YouTube - Eric Knapp Eric Knapp works in Music Publishing Partnerships for YouTube in North America. His primary focus is on engaging the publishing and songwriting communities, growing partnerships with publishers and those who control publishing rights, and improving the YouTube product for music partners overall.

Eric is a former touring musician with prior work experience at Universal Music Group and The Orchard. Eric was later one of the original employees of music tech startup RightsFlow, which was acquired by YouTube in 2011.
