On Monday, May 6th, the Society of Composers & Lyricists welcomed in a new Board of Directors. Officers were elected, and Ashley Irwin was voted in as President. Ashley has been doing an exemplary job as our seminar chair and is a long time and respected member of the film music community, not only here in the States, but also in his native Australia, where he is a much celebrated member of their Performing Rights Society, APRA. The other officers that will be serving you are as follows: First Vice-President, Arthur Hamilton, Second Vice-President, Charles Bernstein, Recording Secretary, Jonathan Neal, Treasurer/CFO, Christopher Farrell.
