In 2003, DON DAVIS composed over six hours of Matrix music for two full-length live-action sequels, THE MATRIX RELOADED and THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, nine ANIMATRIX anime short films and the video game ENTER THE MATRIX. For THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, Don Davis has created a synthesis of classical opera meets a postmodern concerto; over 200 musicians (instrumentalists and vocalists) bring the two-hour score to life. Other critically acclaimed film scores by Davis include BEHIND ENEMY LINES, ANTITRUST, and HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. Davis is currently writing an opera entitled Rio de Sangre, which will be premiered in 2005 at the Disney Music Hall in Los Angeles.

THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, written and directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski, stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss. Neo (Reeves), Morpheus (Fishburne) and Trinity (Moss) take on the forceful machines, which have enslaved the entire human race, to save the last real-world city- Zion. This center of human resistance is clearly defined by Don Davis' signature Matrix sound. Rated R. 128 minutes.
